VLCC Builds Visibility Around Reliance August Big Day Through Targeted Newspaper Campaign with The Media Ant

Bengaluru – August 2026

During major retail events, brands need to stand out while reaching consumers at a moment when purchase consideration is already high. For VLCC, the opportunity was to build visibility around Reliance August Big Day while reaching consumers across key markets through a familiar and credible medium.

To address this, VLCC partnered with The Media Ant to execute a newspaper campaign across Delhi, Bhubaneswar and Jaipur, using quarter-page advertising placements to create a strong presence around the retail-led event.

The campaign leveraged established newspaper environments to deliver the brand message to audiences across the selected markets. In Jaipur, the campaign featured a quarter-page placement in Times of India, Jaipur Times, with the publication reporting a daily circulation of 57.8K copies in the market.

The choice of print allowed VLCC to build visibility within a high-frequency daily medium while aligning its communication with Reliance August Big Day. By combining a prominent format with market-specific newspaper placements, the campaign was designed to deliver consistent exposure across the three cities.

The campaign demonstrates how newspaper advertising can help brands build visibility around major retail moments, particularly when supported by established publications and market-specific media planning.
